First Semester Day at the TU Berlin

Since 1997, the Technische Universität Berlin has been inviting its first-semester students to participate in an orientation program, which we call "First Semester Day". In addition to festive welcoming ceremonies, incoming students have access to a wide range of support and orientation assistance services. A science show presented by TU scientists is an essential element of our orientation program, its purpose is to introduce our new students to the vast universe of scientific knowledge. The Berlin daily newspaper the "Tagesspiegel" has been instrumental in supporting our First Semester Day program since 2001.
